Some musical friends of mine you should check out:

Lloyd Thayer - A slide, Dobro player who combines elements of Eastern music with the Blues and Folk. Think Son House with a modern-day set of mind playing guitar across his lap, bluegrass-style.

Dwight Ritcher and Nicole Nelson - When I see Dwight & Nicole play and sing together I cannot stop smiling. They couldn't hide their joy in making music together if they wanted to. I love it.

Peter Parcek - Peter is - hands down - one of the most talented guitar players around today. He's working on a new CD and I can't wait for it's release.

Dana Price - Dana's fiddle playing always turns ears. She's a great piano player and songwriter, too. You can often find each of us playing on a stage somewhere together.

Scissormen - Scissormen are an act to see. Whether churning out gritty North Mississippi-style blues or breaking it down with an acoustic guitar, Scissormen is creating gutsy, in-your-face music.

Danielle Miraglia - The first time I heard Danielle she was playing Sippie Wallace's 'Women Be Wise'. That was enough for me. Plus, she's a talented songwriter, fingerpicker and performer, and host of The Burren Sunday Night Songwriter Series at The Burren in Somerville, MA.

24 Hour Tom Bianchi - Tom is an all-around entertainer, a helluva bass player and bandleader... and his open mic challenge at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge is one of the best.

Ryan Fitzsimmons - Ryan puts every atom of his energy into each of his performances and is one of my favorite songwriters around town.

Teresa Storch - T Storch is perpetually on the road with her music, but when she's in town it's always great to see her.

Dave Coffin - Dave has got incredible songs, is a fantastic singer, and is a great guitar player.

Frank Morey - Frank's latest CD, 'Made in USA' is a masterpiece. I love it.

Paul Rishell & Annie Raines - Paul is perhaps the best purveyor of the traditional blues styles of anyone from Scrapper Blackwell to Blind Willie McTell, and Annie is a seriously formidable talent on harmonica and other instruments. Their appeal lies in their onstage chemistry. They also have a solid electric ensemble when the time comes to shake it up.

Elam Blackman - Elam has a knack for writing poetic songs. Combining bits of Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie and others, every time I hear him sing and play I just want to take off my hat and stay a while.

Don Reed - Don helped put together this website, and he can help you do the same. Plus, he's a great piano and bass player... and vegetarian chili chef, too! (The shreds of carrot make all the difference.)
